Federal tax credits for Arizona home improvements with energy efficient windows and doors, which were set to expire on December 31, 2010, have been extended through 2011 but with lower limits.

The new tax credit has been lowered from 30 percent to 10 percent and the maximum credit has been lowered from $1,500 to $700. These tax credits, which are up to $200 for windows and $500 for doors, are for windows and doors service between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011.
